Mercedes EQA

Summary

The Mercedes-Benz EQA is an all-electric SUV version of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, sharing its body with the GLA.

It’s available as three models, all with the same 66.5kWh battery. The EQA 250+ is front-wheel drive only, with a power output of 190 hp, and an electric range of 309 – 328 miles. The EQA 300 4MATIC is all-wheel drive, it produces 228 hp, and has an electric range of 258 – 267 miles. The EQA 350 4MATIC, again with all-wheel drive, has a 292 hp power output, and the same electric range of 258 – 267 miles. The EQA comes with a heat pump as standard.

There are three drive modes - Eco, Comfort and Sport - and you can also adjust the rate of regenerative braking - with five levels - using steering wheel-mounted paddles.

The EQA can rapid charge at 100 kW (DC), when a 10-80% charge will take around 30 minutes. It can also charge at 11kW (AC) (likely to be found at workplace charging in the UK), when a 10-100% charge could be achieved in five hours and 45 minutes.

A three-year subscription to the Mercedes me Charge public charging service is available as standard with the EQA.
