Audi E-tron

Summary

The Audi Q4 e-tron is an all-electric compact SUV that comes in three models based on power outputs: 35, 40 and 50. The entry-level 35 model is the only version to get the smaller 52 kWh battery, along with rear-wheel drive, and a 208-mile range. The 40 model has the larger 77 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, and a 316-mile range. The 50 model has the 77 kWh battery, quattro all-wheel drive, and a 298-mile range. There are also two body styles, SUV and Sportback, and three trim levels.

The Audi Q4 e-tron shares its platform with the Volkswagen ID.4 and the Skoda Enyaq. The exterior and interior designs are different, and the Q4 e-tron has physical buttons on the dashboard for controls including shortcuts for the touchscreen, heating and ventilation, and the ‘drive select’ modes of Eco, Comfort, Dynamic and Individual. In comparison, in the ID.4 and Enyaq these controls are accessed via the touchscreen.

The Q4 e-tron has a maximum rapid charging rate of 100 kW – 135 kW depending on the model. At a public 125 kW charger an extra 80 miles of range can be added in as little as 10 minutes. Using a home wallbox, the 77 kW battery could be fully charged in 11.5 hours.
